The T Lounge sounds really wonderful, Emma. I hope they can make a go of it! I used to live in that neighborhood, just a few blocks north, and I'm disappointed that the community board threw up bureaucratic hurdles. I'd like to think it's just because they didn't want to bar on the block, and that they weren't discriminating against a bar for transgender people.

But ...
