The SPLC labels organizations that oppose LGBTQ rights as hate groups. The Alliance Defending Freedom has a strong record working for the criminalization of same-gender sex at home and abroad.

“Hate group” seems entirely apt as a descriptor.

But my comment was not at its heart about ADF or SPLC. It was about judge Barret and her moral values. Which, for reasons I have already explained, I deplore.

And I feel terribly sorry for any of her children who may turn out to be LGBTQ. If Barrett follows the tenets of her religion, that theoretical child would be in for a world of suffering.
