The right wing have lost their damn minds. RuPaul's drag race plays in American living rooms every week. If some parents want their kids to see drag art, then what's the problem? Some parents let their kids watch beauty pageants with swim suit competitions. Some parents take their kids to beauty pageants and even enroll them in beauty pageants. I don't particularly like that because I think beauty contests degrade women, but I'm not going to go out in the street and scream about it. I think parents are perfectly capable of making decisions like that on their own.

Most drag shows are less overtly sexual than heterosexual beauty pageants. The ones designed for kids are obviously much less sexual than that. It's just fabulous, over-the-top entertainment that kids laugh at.
