The real shocker is not that McConnell does what he does. The real shocker is not that the cruelty is the point. The real shocker is not that the privileged and wealthy support him.

What shocks and saddens me the most is that McConnell is able to convince the people of Kentucky to elect him time and again, to vote against their interests and to increase their own suffering.
