The problem here in northern Michigan, Robyn, is our microclimates. Sometimes we get lake effect snow every day, but since we live right on the fringe of the lake effect band, forecasts can be off and wildly. Drive a few miles and everything changes.

The weather service can’t even come close to getting that fine grained.

So I’ve taken to just looking out the window. ;-)
