The only outdoor cruising I've ever done has been in the dunes at P-Town or near the underside of the boardwalk at Brighton Beach, but yeah ... what's really nice about that kind of experience is being in a beautiful place, ... anyway. Everything slows down. People are enjoying themselves one way or the other. The rapid pace of the back room or sauna gives way to languid sensuality.

In a back room, I pretty much knew I would be having a sexual encounter, but while cruising the beach, that was just an exciting possibility.

And that adds something nice to the experience, I think.
