The most satisfying work I ever had was at an HIV/AIDS service organization in the 1990s. It was tough in some ways because it meant getting to know people I could not help. But it was wonderful because of the people I could and did help.

Besides doing IT and helping manage government contracts, I taught in the GED program. That was my absolute favorite part of the job.

Come to think of it, my dream job might be teaching.
