The moment a friend of mine in England broke the news of the Plymouth tragedy to me, I started waiting for the gun nuts to kick in. I knew they would have ridiculous arguments to make and would try to use Plymouth to argue for more guns and not fewer guns.

Sure enough, as night follows day …

But your counter arguments are so obvious and so clearly correct, it’s hard to imagine the gun lobby even trying to make points off Plymouth.

But as ever, you can’t reason somebody out of something they didn’t reason themselves into.
