Indeed. And did you see the Republican response with respect to same-sex marriage?

Maine Senator Susan Collins spelled it out explicitly for the kids in the back row who weren't paying attention. She's so mad about the climate bill deal with Manchin that she's withdrawing her support for the bill protecting same-sex marriage. She suggests other Republicans who might have supported the bill will do the same.

The two issues aren't even remotely connected. But Collins is connecting them anyway, once again demonstrating what a thoroughly horrible human being she is.

But then, that's a Republican for you.
