The entrenched Republican Party strategy to retain power despite lacking support from a majority of Americans has to be checked.

It seems that a majority of Supreme Court justices believe that no such check can exist, at least not on their part.

That is really mind-bending.

What else does the court exist for, if not to provide fair and impartial justice?

If the president of the United States in conjunction with his political party can conspire to slow the US mail in order to suppress the vote, and the Supreme Court declares itself institutionally incapable of checking the president, then what has become of democratic principles?
