The Democratic Party got thrashed in the general elections because American working people are hurting and things are getting worse.

The Democratic Party was selling the status quo, a status quo that Americans are screaming is not good enough.

Trump sold hope, and even though it was laced with hatred and misogyny and racism, people clutched that hope.

The Democratic Party had better wake the fuck up. Leaders in the Democratic Party need to grab hold of some goddamn courage and fight for the people whether the people say they want it or not.
