About how dangerous they are, especially for children and adolescents. It took decades to get lawmakers target alcohol and nicotine products directly or indirectly targeted to children. Republicans were usually at the forefront of stopping such laws.

Every reputable medical association in the United States from the AMA to the APA recommends gender-affirming care for trans youth inappropriate circumstances.

And now we have Republican lawmakers saying they know better than doctors. They say they know better than parents. They say they're going to pass laws based on their own feelings rather than on actual evidence or medical advice.
