The answer is certainly not "somewhere in the middle." The data is, in fact, clear and compelling. But then, you've already written that you haven't looked into it. That's weird. First, you say that you don't believe something, not because of the evidence for or against it, but because of how certain government and business leaders behave.
Then you say, again without making an effort to know anything about that issue, that maybe you're wrong, but the experts are wrong too, and "in the middle" (whatever that means) is "probably" true.
It puzzles me that you would take any public position at all when you admit to being ignorant. To be clear, "somewhere in the middle" is you choosing ignorance over knowledge. Global warming is a complex topic, but it's not impossible to understand for someone of average intelligence and literacy.
You could cure your ignorance if you chose to.
