That would be nice, but a better start would be for a little human decency to be injected into the Church.

The Roman Catholic Church teaches the gay people like me are literally depraved and disordered. It's part of their catechism that they teach to millions of school children around the world every year.

Catholic nuns and priests are, practically without exception, foul homophobes. I've never met one who would disavow church doctrines that I am depraved and disordered.

So I despise them and condemn them right back.

How about the possibility of true reform? Pope Francis just stomped on that with respect to us queer folks — twice.

First, he ordered an end to reform in Germany and other German-speaking European countries, where lay people and clergy alike were demanding an end to the Church's sickening sexism and homophobia. Francis called them schismatic. That's just the beginning of what a disgusting piece of shit he is.

His next stomp was to order LGBTQ reform off the table at the Vatican's recently concluded and revolutionary synod.

Lots of issues could be discussed, but he ruled out reforming the twisted, bullying doctines that condem us as depraved and disordered.

Meanwhile, he was busy calling us all faggots. Twice in two weeks he was caught out instructing fellow priests and bishops in Italy to not admit gay men to seminary, because "there's already too much fagotry in the Vatican."

Yes, he used an Italian word (which reportedly caused a lot of laughter among the homophobic pigs —I mean priests— he was addressing) but my Italian friends report with horror that the word he chose is just as ugly and terrible in Italian as it is in English.

And you know, it's not like Catholic priests don't enforce the depraved and disordered teachings.

My region has been rocked by reports that a large parish just fired a gay music director, who had performed his role for 35 years as an openly gay man.

He's out his ass now, explicitly because he's gay, because he's depraved and disordered.

I could go on and on and on.

The Catholic Church teaches twisted, evil, vicious, bullying things about queer folks me.

And they act out the bullying.

Nuns and priests are disgusting people. Sickening people.

The Church is a vile, disgusting institution.

Who cares what mascot they use? They're still pigs, one way or the other.
