That tweet has to be the most knowingly false statement I’ve ever seen.

The gay rights movement from the 70s through the 90s was hyper focused on demanding major changes in laws, vocabulary, behavior, and society in general.

And anybody who wanted to hear a good bit of cursing could have attended any street March or Pride event. I was there. I know.

The mendacity and unapologetic hypocrisy of the transphobic bigots who run LGB Alliance never stops amazing me. They are such awful people.
