🤣 that reminds me of editing Larry Best’s memoirs in Prism and Pen. I once told him something like, “You aren’t in front of a jury, counselor, or writing a legal brief. In creative writing, we sometimes try to be actually brief.”

I hope he took it in the amicable spirit I intended.
