That may be the case where you are, but it isn’t all the case institutionally for the Salvation Army. They consistently mistreat LGBTQ people in the United States and around the world. With that in mind, I can’t in good conscience give them money. I choose charities that don’t discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. I would hope others would do the same.
