That jury in Wisconsin just declared open season on protesters in the streets of the United States. Somebody who spent much of my young adult life peacefully protesting in the streets, I find that prospect terrifying.

Look it was bad enough when we had to deal with violent tactics from cops. But we never had to deal with armed thugs like Kyle Rittenhouse. How many people are going to follow his example? He's been lionized and turned into a national hero by the Right. He's flashed white power hand signs with Proud Boys.

He showed up with an assault rifle at a BLM protest and killed three people. With an assault rifle.
