That is such a great feeling, isn’t it? So often we feel isolated, and when we realize we have allies close by, we feel so empowered.

Dallas, huh? I know it has its pluses and minuses. I’ve lived in big cities where being LGBT was totally accepted, and I’ve lived in the country where being LGBT is unusual and suspect.

But I’ve never lived in a major metropolitan area that was conservative. I’m not sure I would like that. That’s an interesting and different way of life that perhaps Brian Fehler could shed some light on.
