Thanks so much, Jennifer, and I’m so sorry for your loss. Sam was about to turn 15, and that’s very very very old for a dog of his breed. He was unwell and unhappy because of it much of the time. I’m thankful at least that he was spared a long, traumatic drive to the vet, a place he hated and feared, and then the final indignity of a painful injection.
