Thanks so much for sharing those experiences! For a lot of readers, I think you're offering a peek into a different world. Even for me at just one generation younger than you, things feel significantly if not hugely different from my own experiences in high school and college.

But an unrequited or unrecognized love or crush is sort of unifying, really, isn't it? A common human experience we can all relate to regardless of sexuality or age.
