How’d ya know we all worked late? ;-)

I was usually in by 7 and not out until 6, sometimes later when I didn’t have Act Up in the evening.

And nobody was competing to look good or any of that nonsense. It was a passionate place to work!

And of course we all had to show our colleagues down the street at the giant GMHC what a lean, mean little agency we were. ;-)

Sometimes they’d refer tough cases to us, one of their social workers complimenting us by saying we were small and scrappy, and knew how to get shit done.

I was always anxious to show Larry Kramer up. Lol
