People get intensely uncomfortable about criticizing religion. A couple people even called me Islamophobic over those stories, even though it was queer Muslims who had asked for my help publicizing Facebook's failures.

Just another symptom of the evil that gets perpetuated by insisting on respect for religion even when religion is ugly and horrible.
