Thanks for writing this! The COFE response does indeed feel like weak tea compared to the vile nature of the tweet. It's almost as if the diocese is saying, we regret "how" you communicated your belief that LGBTQ poeple are as dangerous as predatory pedophiles, not that you hold the belief or even, in general, communicated the belief.
