Thanks for writing this! By the time I learned recently that Florida had removed LGBTQ tourism information from its visitors website, I had already concluded that spending money in Florida was something I could not do, ethically. The state leadership's assault on LGBTQ inclusion and acceptance is too much. I cannot be morally complicit in that.

Plenty of event managers are worried about the same thing. Florida is a convention state, making a lot of its money hosting conferences and conventions. But organizations that promote equality are facing strong pushback from members who do not wish to travel to Florida.

Rather than just being negative, it's a great idea to promote alternatives, and Connecticut is certainly a good one.

Connecticut does it share of convention and conference business also, and it's such a beautiful state. The autumn colors are amazing, and this is a perfect time of year for a lovely stay at a nice bed and breakfast.

And if you're an LGBTQ person looking for fun activities, Connecticut not only welcomes you but offers an official web page that details some of the events and activities you might enjoy.

Sounds like a no-brainer to me!
