I think I sort of subconsciously may have subscribed to the trope that Palm Springs is for wealthy, White, old gay guys who might be pretty conservative.

(This is despite the fact that I know and respect Nicholas Snow, who broadcasts Promo Homo TV from Palm Springs, and he's certainly no conservative.)

Thanks a lot for giving us all a peek into a getaway you and your husband love. Your fond descriptions might just shatter a few stereotypes, especially for those of us for whom Palm Springs is a bit off the beaten path.
