I saw the original reports about this when they first came out, and one thing I don’t understand clearly is whether these antibodies are produced by the infant and will continue to be produced, or if they are a temporary phenomenon that will fade after birth.

I don’t know if anybody knows empirically, but if you have any insight about how antibodies typically work in cases like these, I find myself quite curious.
