Thanks for the data! I've been hearing this scare story for quite a while, several years, this idea that transgender men are responsible for a collapse of lesbian identity and/or culture.

As a transphobic talking point, I guess that resonates, perhaps because lesbian culture (like gay male culture!) has evolved quite a lot in the last two or three decades.

There's no arguing, for example, that dedicated sapphic spaces (lesbian bars, etc) are less common than they used to be. But then, gay bars are less common than they used to be, and that doesn't mean gay men are decreasing in numbers. We just don't live and play quite the way we used to.
