Thanks for telling this story, which is so important, and which I think that so many American women understand implicitly but often feel unable to express due public pressure from the right.

Several of my women friends over my almost 60 years of life have told me they had an abortion and never regretted it. They never doubted it was the right thing to do, but they feel subtly shamed about expressing that view in public.
