Sometimes there’s a disconnect between the important work being done by academic queer theorists and the work done by activists and educators.
Our acronyms can become confusing and unwieldy, but I try not to get caught up in all that.
I very much like the newly proposed GSM, for gender and sexual minorities, but unless it catches on, I don’t see much point in using it a lot.
Queer is good for me!
