I came within a hair's breadth of entering conversion therapy myself, as a teenager, and I shudder to think what the consequences might have been.

Nobody should have to suffer through everything you did, from your traumatic abuse as a young child, to the harmful religious practices imposed on you when you reached out for love and healing.
