Thank you for your comment, Danny. I agree with you in many ways, although I do feel I should point out that the Christian Church is not a monolith. Many congregations and denominations fully affirm LGBTQ people, to the point of ordaining and consecrating gay and trans ministers, priests, and bishops.

To cite just one example in the United States, the Episcopal Church is fully affirming with married gay priests and bishops.
