Thank you for writing this. The BBC's highly inflammatory article (with its even more inflammatory misleading headline) is one more example of a wave of moral panic sweeping over the U.K., panic apparently rooted in irrational hatred of transgender people.

This wave of hatred stirred up by TERFs (now more commonly called gender-critical feminists) and recently endorsed by comic Dave Chappelle, has transgender people terrified.
