Thank you for this beautiful story, for the realities and for the hope. Here at Prism & Pen, we once regularly published the fiction of a young gay Nigerian man. Sadly, the fear he felt as an artist exploring a dangerous subject eventually silenced his voice.

I think about him sometimes and wonder how he's doing. I hope his silenced voice is not a reflection of silenced hope.
