This morning in Prism & Pen, we feature two parenting stories, yours and one by a transgender married couple in Idaho.

They love where they live, but they're fleeing, and will be gone by year's end. Their state is dominated politically by people who find your parenting tips anathema, by people who have pushed through laws encouraging and abetting people in being disrespectful and discriminatory toward LGBTQ people, especially transgender people.

They can't have their child growing up at an environment that almost criminalizes parenting tips like yours.

What a world we live in today! What a clash between love and those who would destroy love.
