Thank you for the mention! Many of us Queer people are almost out of our minds with fear right now. And we're relentlessly aware that major media outlets are treating our realistic fright (that Trump will do things he promised his supporters he would do), with dispassion and "neutral" observations that the country has shifted to the right and the "woke agenda" (whatever that is) is finished.

Well, my Queer siblings and I are not agendas. We are people who deserve to live our lives and form our families without oppression, suppression, or interference from a conservative majority.

We see "allies" In high places abandoning us already, and I'm not at all comfortable that Medium is going to stand with us. Curators rejected my story you linked to, and I'm very afraid that's a sign of what's coming.
