When Michelle Legro messaged me to say you would be responding, I expected a real response with actual substance. “Bitch” is a toxic word used to demean and dehumanize women and gay men. I’m shocked to find it in Gen, and I’m more shocked that you decline to respond to the substance of my complaint.

We need to hear from a woman here, given the misogynistic connotation and denotation of “bitch.”
