Thank you for pointing out clearly how damaging mockery is. There’s no point to it other than bullying, and labels of Marxism are beyond silly.
You know, I think much disdain for men in dresses is really just misogyny. It’s really the unfounded belief that women are weak and not as good as men. It’s the unfounded belief that men who dress like women take on women’s weakness.
I pointed this out to somebody the other day in a similar conversation: air forces all over the world – including in Canada, the United States, India, and Israel – have discovered women make excellent fighter pilots, often performing better than their male equivalents. Women as fighter pilots tend to be strong, quick-thinking, and cool under pressure.
So, during the day, they wear their flight suits and go about their training, while presumably often at night they’ll put on a dress and go out on the town.
Nobody claims that makes them weak or Marxist.
Because it’s just a damn dress. Social conservatives and others need to get a grip.
