I used to hire interns sometimes, and I valued them as interns and not as employees. I tried to make the experience enriching for the interns, but let me tell what else was enriching.
I learned from THEM quite often. It’s a two-way street. Whip-smart young people fresh from innovative classes at university may lack experience, but they bring ideas to the table too, if people are smart enough to hear those ideas and think about them.
