Take the UK. Sure, they boast a lot of nominal Christians, but church attendance in the UK is dramatically lower than in the US. They don't have mass shootings because they don't carry guns. Even their police mostly don't carry guns.

It's awful hard to shoot somebody with a gun when you don't have one. Eh?
