Sure, but here’s the thing. Kill the filibuster, pass comprehensive voter protection reform legislation, and admit at least Puerto Rico and DC to the Union as states. That’s bold and fraught with danger, of course; but if it worked the Senate would not be in the hands of Republicans again for very, very long time.

The alternative is countless more years of outsized minority influence in the Senate and probably a generation at least of continued inability to govern.
