Study groups were always hit or miss for me in college. Mostly, I found that I could do better work by concentrating hard on my own. Fewer distractions equaled more work.

However, in very difficult math classes that I was weak in conceptually, the synergy of a small study group could help me get over the hump.

Just thought I’d kick in that little tidbit.
