Stroll through the killer's Twitter profile is horrifying. He was so filled with hatred, and so much of it was coming from all the usual suspects on the far right. He internalized their hatred, and then he struck.

Responsible leaders would eschew violent hate speech that leads inevitably to violence, but all over the United States we see politicians and community leaders endorsing the anti-queer rhetoric rather than urging respect for diversity.

More violence is inevitable.
