Speaking of frequency illusion, I read this really interesting article in The Guardian this morning that might explain how some conspiracy theories take off under the radar.

Apparently, a lot more Americans than most people realize get much of their news and information from conservative talk radio, which outdoes even Fox News in terms of audience size — by a large margin.

While many of the radio talk programs are local or regional, various hosts sing quite similar tunes, often echoing one another as their conspiratorial ideas take on great frequency outside channels many of us are not aware of.
