Sounds like an excellent idea to me. By the way, I have friends who live in the UK and Europe, and some of the voting systems there strike me as more confusing than ranked choice voting. Voter education drives there don’t seem to have real difficulty letting people understand what’s going on.

I haven’t looked at the situation carefully in California, but I hope the governor’s reason for vetoing the measure is genuine and not manufactured for partisan reasons.
