Sounds a little bit like conversations between me and my dog. Sam was having an absolute conniption fit yesterday evening just as the sun was going down. Standing at the front door barking like a hound dog, which he’s a bird dog so he should know better.
For background, the snow has just begun to melt and there’s a little patch of bare grass under my line of bird feeders. Naturally some greedy finches and woodpeckers have knocked seed into the grass.
Which, you guessed it, has attracted bunnies, tons of bunnies who show up mostly at sundown and sunset to munch sunflower seeds.
And all I can say is, Sam, you wouldn’t know what to do if you caught one. Would you please stop barking?
