Sorry if I sound like I’m nitpicking, which is not my intent, but I think Heinlein predicted something a bit like this. His government administrative computer in the “Moon is a Harsh Mistress" seems a bit similar to the AI system being described here. It does become sentient for a while, demonstrating your main point, but then loses sentience and goes back to being just in astoundingly good piece of AI software.
