So this is old news, but remember that group of armed and militiamen who plotted the kidnap the governor of Michigan and "try her for treason" over mask mandates?

I live in the same general region as the plotters, some of them are just convicted the other day, and after the FBI arrested them, a "constitutional sheriff" went public calling the men patriots and saying they had every right to arrest the governor, who polls suggest is going to win big on Tuesday.

Talk about an attack on democracy!

What happened to the sheriff? Nothing, he's still in charge of his county. I for one am nervous if I need to go there for any reason, knowing that the forces of law and order bend to the whim of a deranged nut.
