So so important!

If in our economic system most people could be rich, most people would be rich. It’s not like we’re suffering from any critical shortage of inspirational tales like Bill Gates' story.

No matter how hard people work, there’s only room for one Bill Gates. One Jeff Bezos. Etc.

People aren’t hurting because they don’t know how to make money. We’re hurting right now because everyone in the United States is doing less well than their parents. Jobs pay less. Bosses demand more hours anyway. Child care is expensive, especially now that families can’t afford to have only one parent work. Healthcare is prohibitively expensive and getting more so every day.

The average working person is way less well off than in my parents' generation, and nothing indicates that things are going to get better any time soon.

The system is fundamentally flawed. People selling get rich quick ideas aren’t helping. They’re holding up their good fortune and luck to let people fantasize about what they will probably never have.

As a nation, we don’t need fantasies. We need to start being prosperous again, which means the 1% are going to need to unclench their fists a little bit.

Seriously.
