So in the Biden administration, Defund the Police has become Morefund the Police. I have no love for Biden. I think he's a rapidly deteriorating anachronism implacably opposed to progressive ideas. He's also a liar. He said he wouldn't run for a second term, and now he's saying he will, and NOBODY is shouting that he needs to keep his word.

Even still, I had no idea that beefing up money to police departments was part of any program his administration was pushing through Congress. Am I shocked? Not really, I guess. It's par for the course. I'm angry, though. I'm angry as much at the entire political establishment and journalistic establishment as I am at Biden himself.

Obviously, the summer of 2020 meant nothing. The forces of power, especially white power, in the United States are relentlessly and ruthlessly pushing for the status quo ante. And nobody says a word.
